Product with grapes Dolcetto of the vineyard Pugnane of Monforte d' Alba, cultivated following the classic method "Guyot", with medium - short lopping. The annual production of grape is of approximately 8.000 kg/ha, and the grape harvest is carried out to the half of September. The fermentation is of type traditional, with marc’s maceration, and lasts approximately 6 days, in steel tanks with constant controlled temperature and soft frequent remounted of the must. After the second spontaneous malic-lactic fermentation, the wine is maintained in steel tanks until the successive spring, when it is bottled. It is a lively and pleasant wine , for the fruity scent that remembers the mature grape and for the harmonious taste, pleasantly bitterish in the after - taste.
This wine is ready to drink young, but it maintains its qualities for various time. |
