We offer our guests various wine-tasting formulas and guided tours of our family wine cellars, to learn about the history, traditions and production philosophy of our wines.
Take a seat in the spacious tasting room and let us take you on a fascinating journey to discover the production areas and grape growing technologies, as well as the sensory characteristics and ageing potential of the wines. We will also give you valuable tips and advice on how best to taste them in combination with the local gastronomic specialities.
The tastings are open to those staying at the guesthouse but also to other wine lovers and even those who are just curious, who can also purchase wines from the Franco Molino Winery and the Bergadano Winery.
In summer, and weather permitting, the tasting can be held in the garden, in the shade of the pergola.
There are reductions for groups.
A family-run winery, with about 10 hectares of vineyards, all located in the heart of the Barolo production zone: Bricco Zuncai and Sarmassa in the municipality of Barolo; Rocche dell’Annunziata and Bricco Rocca in La Morra; Villero in the municipality of Castiglione Falletto.
We grow native grapes only: Nebbiolo, Dolcetto, Barbera and Favorita. The winemaking style is modern and makes use of state-of-the-art technology, but respect for tradition and experience are decisive when it comes to maximising the qualitative potential of each individual bunch of grapes.
The winery produces around 40,000 bottles a year.
A traditional style winery which has succeeded in preserving all the proud character of its origins.
The 3 hectares of estate-owned vineyards are located in Barolo and Monforte, in two of the most prestigious crus: Sarmassa and Bussia.
The winery produces Barolo, Nebbiolo and Barbera d’Alba, with a total of about 10,000 bottles a year.
A pleasant way to get to know the wines of the Langhe and how to pair them with food.
The tasting will be led directly by a member of the Molino and Bergadano family.
We will tell you the story of the two family labels and their production processes: we will show you our vineyards, the different types of soil, the vineyard cultivation methods and the production of the various wines from vinification to bottling, illustrating the differences between our wines. We will provide you with useful tips for storing wine and suggestions for excellent food pairings.
